About Riccardo Ghiribelli

Riccardo Ghiribelli, a painter born in 1940 and active in Florence, has worked in many techniques, from painting to drawing, watercolour and printmaking, including lithography. In the 1970s he was one of the founders of Bafomet, a Florentine cultural centre and artists' group that showed work by Lucio Fontana and Alberto Burri. He later ran the cultural programme of the historic Caffè Giubbe Rosse in Florence, and in 2012 he sat on the jury of the Viterbo art biennial.
