About Eugenio Pardini

Eugenio Pardini (Viareggio 1912 – 2003), a self-taught painter, also created large public frescoes, including «La Resistenza sulle Apuane» in Carrara town hall and «La storia di Viareggio» on the town hall of his home town. He exhibited at the Venice Biennale in 1948 and 1956 and at several editions of the Rome Quadriennale. He painted seascapes, bathers, landscapes, still lifes and female figures linked to the sea, and also made etchings and lithographs. Works by him are held at the GAMC Lorenzo Viani in Viareggio.
